All the coaches at ADASC are volunteers and give up their time to help the children progress in their swimming. They are all DBS checked and are a mix of swim coaches, teachers and parents with a passion for competitive swimming.

Squads

ADASC has a number of squads that cater for different levels of ability and commitment. Swimmers from Stage 7 of the National Teaching Plan usually start at Academy and are coached to improve their stroke technique, swim speed and stamina thus increasing fitness and ability until they progress, should they wish to do so, to our performance squad who train in excess of 12hrs per week and compete at National level.

Fees

All fees are due on the first day of the month. Each Squad pays a different monthly fee.  Details of fees are as follows:

The above monthly fees must be paid by a monthly standing order from your bank or building society. It is the duty of the parent/guardian to ensure that the correct fees are paid. When changes are made to monthly fees, notices will be posted on the website or sent via e-mail. Checks are made on direct debit arrangements on a regular basis. To avoid any embarrassment or difficulties we ask that all members are vigilant in relation to their own checking procedures.

In addition to the monthly fee all members are required to pay the annual ADASC membership fee as well as the annual Swim Wales membership fee.  Both are payable on April 1st.

2nd Child and subsequent children in family - £20.00

Swim Wales Membership (2017/18)

Swimmers under 10 years of age  - £32.00

Swimmers over 10 years of age    - £34.00
